When I was about 13 I went to my friends house to find her mom painting her walls when all 3 of us knew that her father was against colorful walls. When my friend asked her mom if her dad knew about it her mom said "Girls... Its always easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission" I always thought it was a funny story because the next time I went over there her parents bedroom was the same color!
